Al via la quattordicesima edizione dell’Europrix Multimedia Awards. Un concorso destinato ai giovani ideatori di progetti innovativi che hanno meno di 30 anni. Applicazioni per telefonia mobile, siti di giochi, computer grafica e animazioni. Nove le categorie. Le candidature possono essere presentate entro il 1 luglio 2011. L’anno scorso il primo premio a un gruppo tedesco con un lavoro per una mostra su cibo e religione
Applicazioni per la telefonia mobile, giochi, computer grafica, siti web e installazioni multimediali. Se avete meno di 30 e una certa dimestichezza con tutto quanto ha a che fare con le nuove frontiere multimediali, allora l’Europrix Top Talent Award è quello che fa per voi. In questi giorni è stata lanciata la quattordicesima edizione ed è destinato proprio agli studenti e ai giovani professionisti che lavorano su progetti innovativi nel campo del design e dei contenuti digitali (nella foto la premiazioned dell’anno scorso).
Il premio prevede nove categorie e per ciascuna ci sarà un vincitore. Inoltre, la giuria assegnerà anche un premio speciale. Le categorie sono online/web, offline/interactive DVD, mobile contents & applications, games, computer graphics & design, content tools and interface design, interactive installations, online & digital video/tv, animations.
I team dei 30 finalisti nominati verranno invitati al Europrix Multimedia Festival che si terrà a Graz in Austria l’11 e il 12 novembre del 2011. Tutti i finalisti potranno avere un web showcase e una promozione attraverso il network di TTA. I vincitori dei premi avranno poi l’occasione di lavorare con i migliori esperti del settore e di cooperare con le aziende più innovative e con i designer più creativi.
Tutte le candidature devono essere relative a prodotti realizzati e applicazioni e non sono ammessi bozze, dimostrazioni o prototipi non realizzati. Ciascun progetto può essere candidato in una sola categoria entro, e non oltre, il 1 luglio del 2011.
L’anno scorso il vincitore del premio speciale è stato un gruppo tedesco TheGreenEyl composto da Dominik Schumacher, Willy Sengenwald, Frédéric Eyl e Gunnar Green con il loro Whispering Table, un lavoro per il Sti?ung Jüdisches Museum Berlin per una mostra sul cibo e la religione.
Sono stati 23 i progetti ammessi alla lista finale (vedi la lista) e la competizione ha nel complesso coinvolto giovani creativi provenienti da 38 paesi. Tra gli altri premiati, gli israeliani Einat Dotan, Ira Morstyn e Dany Koren per il progetto weboline Topit. Poi i francesi Faustine Clavert, Julie Cecchoni, Valentin De Bruyn, Alan Langlois e Hans Lemuet con il progetto “uti” per la categoria mobile contents & applications. Nella categoria “games” si sono invece segnalati i danesi Klaus Hammerum Gregersen e Troels Johnsen per il progeto Max & The Magic Maker.
